Guadalupe Velasco is the daughter of two proud Mexican born parents. From the moment she saw her parents shout of joy and proudness at her cousin’s graduation, she knew she wanted to make her parents proud, too. So she used those same looks as motivation to be someone in life. She is constantly getting involved in her community whether through clubs, volunteering, or just helping out. Guadalupe has currently been part of Loyola Young Lawyers for two years and is now part of NHS as secretary. She is passionate about the legal system and hopes to one day become a lawyer in civil law. Guadalupe is extremely thankful for being given the chance to participe in CHCI NextGen.
