She is currently the Associated Student Body Senate, a leadership team member of a non-profit organization called DemocraSHE, and is an active member of United Student, an organization at her school. She’s passionate about the law, building community, and strengthening her leadership skills in order to one day run for office. It is thanks to the Next Gen Program that she has gained a deeper understanding as to what it takes to make a true impact in her community, and the importance of acting on one’s intuitions and passions to support and rise up with la raza/our community in order to create a better society. Which is why she finds it crucial for all to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to better themselves, better their communities and in doing so the world!
