Harry Bonilla 

Harry Bonilla is a proud Afro-Colombian, he was born and raised in South Florida in a working-class home. 

The first in his family to graduate from college, Harry earned a degree in political science from the University of Florida, specializing in Latin American Affairs and National Security. He is currently pursuing a master’s in political management at George Washington University, focusing on campaign strategy and public policy. 

Harry currently serves as a Staff Assistant and Legislative Correspondent, and he is to making politics more accessible to working-class communities. His goal is to launch a political consulting firm that helps candidates in the South run for office and win. 

When he is not on Capitol Hill, you can find Harry at Zorba’s Café in Dupont Circle, listening to salsa, or reading about Florida’s ecological history.
