Isabella Paez is a rising senior in Miami, Florida with a strong passion for human rights law, education advocacy, and the ideals of justice. Isabella applied to CHCI NextGen in order to expand her knowledge, connect with young leaders, and sharpen her skills as a leader. Isabella is the founder and president of her own club and passion project, “Mater Rise Up”, which focuses on aiding low income and immigrants students in their path after high school to equip them with the community, resources, and guidance they need. Apart from her passion project, she is the Mater Academy FBLA President as well as the District 25 FBLA President. She participates in civic engagement and advocacy work with groups such as the Youth in Policy Institute, Activate GenZ, Latino Justice, and the Florida State Attorneys Office as a high school intern. Isabella is excited to continue to explore the world of law, policy, and advocacy!
