Jason Bunay is a first generation Ecuadorian student that attends Cristo Rey Jesuit High school in Minneapolis, MN. He is interested in majoring in psychology on the pre med track with a minor in political science. His interest for psychology came after his internship serving as an academic coordinator at a nonprofit. Following his internship, he went on to also serve as a tutor and hockey coach with that same organization. Being Latino and a part of an underrepresented demographic, Jason also has a special interest in political science. His ultimate desire is to advocate for affordable healthcare for first generation low income students of color. His pride in his Latino identity and passion to make a positive impact in his community speaks on his persona as a young leader.
