Jordan Mitchell-Ramirez is a proud Afro-Latina. An 11th grader at John Marshall High School she is the Girls Basketball manager and volunteers for after school programs. She loves giving back to her community and being able to relate to her fellow peers and provide translation services for new comers at her school! Doing the NextGen program motivated her to pursue a medical career where she can help people of all backgrounds. The NextGen program allowed her to voice issues that affect the Latino Community and have a safe space to talk about all these issues.
