Jordan Rivera hates the feeling of unease. He proudly represents Santa Ana, California, and has the identity of being a First-Generation Latino. His hatred of unsettlement was derived from the immigration policies held in the United States, and it is through his parents that he wants to work at Capitol Hill, making big decisions on immigration reform. He is involved in many school clubs that foster and develop people like himself, notably, organizing an annual gift drive during Christmas held for under-resourced students like himself. Through his participation in CHCI NextGen, Jordan developed his knowledge of the US government and political systems, ignited his passion for reform and advocacy, and sees the power every individual holds through their actions and voice.
