Naomi Payan Rodriguez is the daughter of Mexican Immigrants from Mesa, Arizona. She is currently Treasurer of Girl Up, a girl-centered leadership development initiative, and a volunteer for her community. She’s eager to advocate for the rights of women of color and the equal participation and leadership of women and girls in S.T.E.M. Thanks to the NextGen program, Naomi acquired a new awareness of the Latino community, and access to a remarkable network of upcoming leaders.
