OMAR PADILLA

Omar R. Padilla is Vice President & Business Manager at J.P. Morgan Chase (JPMC), primarily serving the Southwest Segment – South Texas & New Mexico Markets (incl. Emerging Middle Markets). In this capacity, Mr. Padilla provides regional and national support in business initiatives with multiple functions, including strategy, financial/project management, and reporting analysis/development. Previously, Mr. Padilla worked for Global Corporate Sector Finance Planning and Analysis, which provides financial, business management, and automation/process improvements for all Lines of Business, the CFOs, and Corporate Sector functions within the JPMC firm (incl. Corporate Responsibility and DEI).

 Before joining JPMC, Mr. Padilla worked at Citigroup as an AVP for both Business & Infrastructure Management – Corporate Technology Infrastructure for the Service Level Management team – and Citi Cards (incl. Customer Retail Services and Credit Cards) portfolios for monthly and yearly contractual obligations.

 Mr. Padilla is CHCI alumni (class of 2014), where he interned at The U.S. Department of the Treasury in Washington D.C. for the Office of Financial Management (OFM). He earned Magna Cum Laude and Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from The University of Texas at Arlington and La Universidad de Salamanca in Castilla y Leon, Spain.
