Omar Trujillo-Galván is the son of Mexican parents, born in McAllen, Texas, and was raised most of his life in Mexico City. As a dedicated member of the Service Leadership Society at Harmony School of Innovation-Brownsville High School, he actively engages in creating bills to improve their community. Interested for years in economic and social issues linking the United States and Mexico, he plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in economics. CHCI NextGen provided Omar with invaluable tools and a broader vision of how to have a significant impact on his community, ultimately contributing to creating a better and brighter tomorrow.
