Pablo Guevara is a Colombian-American high-schooler living in Claremont, California. His drive to make civics more approachable has led to efforts such as Politilingo, an online Instagram page where he uploads videos explaining political terms, as well as Policy With Pablo, a division of his school newspaper that discusses news California legislation in brief articles. He enjoys teaching about the government as a Congressional Debate Captain on his school’s Speech And Debate team and playing on his school’s tennis team. Being in CHCI NextGen allowed him to root his advocacies back to the Latino struggle, making him a more competent leader for minorities who need it most. Pablo hopes to become a lawyer and find justice for others in the constant struggle of equity.
