Rafael Hernandez Guerrero grew up in Mexico but is now living in Boulder, Colorado. He is part of Latino Student Organization, and advises the city of Boulder through the Youth Opportunities Advisory Board. He wants to help people in a state of poverty to advance in the socioeconomic ladder. In the NextGen program Rafael learned many leadership skills, and made meaningful connections with other students.
