Sofia Fuller

Sofia Fuller is a first-generation Mexican-American proud to represent the Latino community. CHCI NextGen allowed her to immerse herself in Congressional life, where she discussed issues facing her community with members of Congress. Sofia advocates for justice and is specifically passionate about criminal justice reform. She is Vice President of the Advocates for Innocence Club, her high school’s chapter of the Innocence Project. Sofia is a leader in her high school’s Mock Trial, Model UN, and Debate team. Sofia wants to use her voice to advocate for justice for marginalized communities. Sofia plans to major in Political Science on the Pre-Law track or in International relations. She hopes to go to law school one day to learn how to use the legal system to mitigate the challenges that face her community. CHCI NextGen prompted Sofia to foster invaluable relationships with her peers and showed her the importance of promoting Latino Unity.
