Vivian Reyes-Martinez is a proud oaxaqueña, born and raised in Cartersville, Georgia. Growing up in the United States has not diminished her deep love for her culture and heritage. Vivian’s dedication to her community shines through her various leadership roles. As the president and founder of her school’s chapter of HoPe (Hispanic Organization Promoting Education), she dedicates herself to empowering Hispanic students. She also serves as Vice-President of the Class of 2026, highlighting her commitment to academic excellence and peer support. In her role as Project Manager of WISE (Women Excellence in STEM), Vivian promotes and supports women pursuing STEM careers. Her experience with CHCI NextGen revealed the profound impact of Hispanic/Latinx leaders and the transformative power of their actions. With plans to study political science, Vivian aims to harness her passion for her heritage and leadership skills to make a significant, positive impact on her community and beyond.
