Eddie Scott
Current Position/Organization
Director, Development and Corporate Relations

As Director of Development and Corporate Relations, Eddie is responsible for leading the creation and execution of a comprehensive development strategy. This includes annual giving, major gifts, individual giving, and sponsorship execution. Alongside his team, Eddie identifies, cultivates, and engages potential donors—individuals, foundations, and corporations—to secure financial support. He also develops and manages relationships with corporate partners to secure sponsorships, donations, and in-kind contributions.
Eddie’s previous experience in higher education, government relations, and other nonprofit sectors has prepared him for the leadership role he holds today.
He believes the work we do at CHCI is crucial to the political representation of Hispanic and minority communities. It advances key issues and ensures that the voices of Hispanic Americans are heard and acted upon in Congress. Without sufficient financial support, our ability to advocate for meaningful change, mobilize voters, and influence policy outcomes would be significantly limited.
Fun fact: Eddie is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and has won two step shows!
