Vice President
Jovahana Avila, Vice President of the Dallas CHCI Alumni Chapter, is an alumna of the Fall 2018 CHCI Congressional Internship Program where she interned with U.S. House of Representative, Luis V. Gutierrez.
She is an Associate at Goldman Sachs where she’s supported the Financial Crime Compliance team since 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. During her time as an undergraduate, she served in the Office of Texas State Representative Eddie Rodriguez, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., the League of Women Voters of Texas, the Office of Austin Mayor Steve Adler and with Every Texan (formerly the Center for Public Policy Priorities).
