Ashton Obando is the firstborn of Honduran immigrants from Houston, Texas. They are currently learning to be a junior instructor for her martial arts dojo, taekwondo. They are really passionate about helping those in need in their area as homelessness is a big issue. This environment has made them want to pursue a degree in business management. Thanks to the NextGen program, Ashton has a great knowledge of different types of Latinos who come together and knows how our struggle is universal but still unique to us.
