Giselle Angeli Juarez was born in Austin, Texas, and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania by a first-generation Mexican-American and Dominican mother and a Colombian-American father.
Giselle is a student at the University of Alabama, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies at the Honors College. She recently became the Vice President of Member Development for Kappa Alpha Pi, where she leads initiatives to enhance students’ professional and academic skills. She previously served as their Director of Professional Development from 2025-2026, as a founding executive council member. She served as Director of External Outreach for the university’s Hispanic-Latino Association, where she enhanced the organization’s visibility through targeted outreach. She also competed as an attorney for two years with the University of Alabama Mock Trial Association, and she was honored by the American Mock Trial Association as an All-Regional Attorney in February 2025.
Giselle’s professional background includes work as a receptionist at Psych Choices of Delaware Valley. During the summer of 2025, she served as a Congressional Intern for Senator John Fetterman’s Philadelphia office. Currently, she assists in voter outreach as an intern for the Dakarai Larriett Senate campaign and leads hospitality operations as a Certified Front of House Trainer at her local Chipotle restaurant.
As a CHCI Intern, Giselle seeks to strengthen her leadership skills and deepen her understanding of the federal legislative process to better advocate for marginalized communities and continue her journey of public service.
