Aaralyn Allin-Zayas is a passionate and driven high school senior from the Denver metro area with a keen interest in juvenile justice reform and public policy. She is actively involved in Teen Court at the Aurora Municipal Courthouse and serves as a Policy Fellow. Through her research on barriers in education and financial challenges, she has gained valuable insights into the issues affecting families. Aaralyn applied to CHCI NextGen to deepen her understanding of policy-making, connect with other like-minded Latino youth, and further her goal of becoming a juvenile public defender and influential policymaker.
