Beni Resendiz
Beni Resendiz is a public servant dedicated to expanding opportunity and strengthening civic leadership. Born in San Antonio, Texas, and shaped by five formative years living in Acapulco, Mexico, he brings a bicultural perspective to his work and a deep commitment to community-centered policymaking.
Beni currently serves as a Legislative Correspondent. Through policy research, constituent engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, he contributes to responsive governance and thoughtful public service.
Prior to his work on Capitol Hill, Beni served as Membership and Special Programs Manager at Centro San Antonio. There, he led initiatives to strengthen stakeholder engagement and community partnerships across San Antonio’s downtown corridor. He designed and executed professional development programming, networking events, and strategic initiatives that supported business leaders and fostered civic collaboration. His work included budget oversight, program planning, and partnership development to ensure sustainable growth and long-term
impact.
Beni holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Corporate and Strategic Communications from the University of the Incarnate Word. His academic training in strategic messaging and organizational leadership continues to inform his approach to public service.
