Melissa Andrade

Melissa Andrade currently serves as a Legislative Assistant covering Transportation & Infrastructure, the Judiciary, Financial Services, and Government Oversight. She started her career on Capitol Hill serving as a Director of Operations and a Legislative Aide for Rep. Ritchie Torres. Prior to joining the Hill, she was a Federal Relations Associate for the University of Florida, supporting federal advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. 

A graduate of the University of Florida with a B.A. in English, Melissa brings strong writing, research, and communication skills to her work. Originally from Miami, FL and the daughter of Cuban-Dominican immigrants, she is motivated by a deep commitment to public service. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, drawing, and exploring Washington, D.C.
