Carlos Lara

Carlos Lara is a Legislative Correspondence Manager. In his role, he manages his office’s mail program and supports the Education, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources, and Public Lands issue areas. He began his career on Capitol Hill as an intern in summer 2022. 

Carlos is a first-generation Mexican-American who was born in Chico, California and was raised in Reno, Nevada. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in English Literature from the University of Nevada, Reno. In his free time you will find him at the local farmers market, bookstores, or getting a cup of coffee at Lost Sock Roasters.
