Mirella Altoro is  from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and currently attends a prestigious Catholic all-girls high school as a junior. She stands out as one of the few Latinas in her school and is determined to emerge as a leader in her community, where her demographic is often underrepresented. Mirella actively participates in several impactful groups including Furia Latina, the Student Council’s DEI branch, Student Recruiters, Vision Screening, and the Service Team. In these roles, she takes on leadership responsibilities to advocate for the interests of Latinos within her school community. CHCI NextGen solidified Mirella’s dedication to advancing the interests of the nation’s Latino community throughout her career.
