Estefanie Maldonado

Estefanie Maldonado serves as the Vice President of Strategic Events at CHCI. She joined the team in 2010 as an intern and has had the privilege of growing her professional career and creating memorable event experiences, all while serving the Latino community. In her current role, she manages and supports the development and implementation strategy around the various signature events CHCI hosts throughout the year. She also collaborates closely with her colleagues from the Development Team to provide our event partners and corporate sponsors with a stellar donor experience. 

A native of the Washington D.C. area and daughter of Salvadoran and Chilean immigrant parents, Estefanie is a first-generation graduate from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism & Events Management. Over the last few years, she has earned industry-recognized certifications and designations: CMP Designation (Certified Meeting Professional) and DES Designation (Digital Event Strategist). When not planning the next event, Estefanie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling (preferably somewhere warm with a beach), and exploring new restaurants in the area.
