Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer at CHCI, LeRoy is responsible for the financial and accounting operations of the organization. He brings over 25 years of business experience from the areas of public accounting, publicly traded companies, and non-profit sectors.
Prior to joining CHCI, LeRoy served as controller for The National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE) and it’s for-profit subsidiary, The National Institute for School Leadership, Inc. (NISL). He was responsible for the development and implementation of all aspects of the company’s financial operations. Prior to NCEE, LeRoy served as Vice President, Finance & COO for the Historical Society of Washington, DC where he directed the financial and operational activities of the society’s historic library and museum units. LeRoy also served as the Controller and Vice President, Corporate Administration for Black Entertainment Television, Inc. (a division of Viacom, Inc.). He began his career with the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen.
