Melissa Carias-Lemus

Melissa is the Senior Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations at CHCI; working to develop and strengthen partnerships with corporate, foundational, and political partners. Melissa previously served on Senator Peters (D-MI) and Senator Coons (D-DE)’s D.C. campaign teams and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), helping raise millions in support of Senate Democrats in the historic 2022 midterms. As the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants and a first-generation college graduate, Melissa is motivated to help young Latinos break down systematic barriers to political and executive leadership. She graduated from American University with a Bachelors in Political Science and is a proud Massachusetts native. In her free time, Melissa enjoys discovering new music and restaurants in D.C. and cheering for the Boston Celtics.
