Amy Araceli Arceo
Amy Araceli Arceo is currently a Legislative Aide/Legislative Correspondent. She supports legislative and constituent priorities by researching policy issues and managing communications that connect federal policymaking to the needs of the district.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Amy is a proud Mexican American and first-generation professional who believes representation on Capitol Hill matters now more than ever. She is committed to ensuring that communities like hers see themselves reflected in positions of leadership and decision-making.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Texas A&M University and studied abroad at the Universidad de Granada in Spain. Prior to her current role, she served in the offices of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) and Congresswoman Erica Lee Carter (D-TX), where she supported legislative, constituent, and operational efforts.
Amy hopes to continue building a long-term career on Capitol Hill, advancing equitable policy
and expanding opportunities for underrepresented communities through dedicated public service.
