School: Harmony School of Ingenuity

Kathe Ramos is a Mexican-American resident of Houston, TX. She strives to make a change and be an influence to the hardships implied in today’s society. She is a current attendee of Harmony School of Ingenuity and is Vice-President of her school’s very own Service Leadership Society. Kathe co-created and presented the “Ercot Nationalization Act”, which passed and obtained needed legislation for the improvement of the Texas Electrical Grid that provides energy to Texas residents, at SLSs’ Austin’s Bill Session, where students compete in hopes of passing a bill to better the lives of Texas state residents. She is also the Vice-President of National Honor Society. Kathe collaborates with District 4’s very own Texas District Board of Education member, Ms. Stacy Childs, to improve the education provided to her community. With the help of her leadership, high achieving education, and the support of CHCI NextGen, she continues to work to expand her network, abilities and intellect to obtain more opportunities to make a greater impact and produce change in the lives of present generations and those to come.
